A Night Sky Photography Workshop at Port Talbot Steelworks and in the Rhondda Valley for One Person or Two Booking Together. These workshops are run in the winter months to take advantage of shorter days and early sunests.

Come on a Port Talbot Steelworks and Rhondda Valley Night Sky Photography Workshop .Capture industrial scenery at night and light trails at the amazing Bwlch Mountain Road in the depths of the Rhondda valley!

We’ll be at Port Talbot well before sunset and stay until after dark and then travel to the Rhonnda Valley.

You’ll experience some great night skies, have an opportunity for light trails and if you wish, star trails photography.

You’ll also learn a wide range of new and exciting photographic techniques, or the chance to develop those that you’re already familiar with.

Workshops are based on based on advanced technique, composition and creativity for the more experienced photographer.

During each event, we cover:

  • Your camera controls,
  • Composition theory,
  • Long Exposure Photography and creation of light trails
  • A range of locations
  • Review and post-processing of your images

Please note that if conditions are dry or acceptable for photography (even if cloudy), the workshop will go ahead as planned. However if wet weather is forecast, an alternative date will be arranged. For this reason, please ask advice before booking accommodation as we will be able to arrange alternative dates with local accommodation providers.
