Come on a Brecon Beacons Night Sky Photography Workshop.
See the area at its best in potentially wonderful light and with no-one else around!
The Brecon Beacons is recognised as an International Dark Skies Reserve. Locations are around the reservoirs, lakes and mountains, giving us great locations to capture the night sky, with potential reflections in the water. The workshop also offers opportunities for mixed lighting and light painting. The exact locations selected on the night will depend on the weather conditions.
You’ll experience some great night skies, have an opportunity for star gazing, and if you wish, star trails photography.
You’ll also learn a wide range of new and exciting photographic techniques, or the chance to develop those that you’re already familiar with.
Our plan is to introduce this workshop at other locations in the UK – please CONTACT US for details.
Workshops are based on based on advanced technique, composition and creativity for the more experienced photographer.
During each event, we cover:
- Your camera controls,
- Composition theory,
- Long Exposure Photography
- The Night Sky
- Light and Star Trails
- Image review and post-processing of your images at the end.
Please note that if conditions are dry or acceptable for photography (even if cloudy), the workshop will go ahead as planned. However if wet weather is forecast, an alternative date will be arranged. For this reason, please ask advice before booking accommodation..
